Analisis Pengaruh Penempatan Pemanas dan Kecepatan Putaran Kipas Terhadap Temperatur yang Dihasilkan Oleh Pv Solar Electric Warmer DOC (Day Old Chicken)

Abstract

Alat pemanas kandang menjadi suatu kebutuhan pokok bagi peternak dalam pemeliharaan ayam selama masa brooding. Kebutuhan energi yang tidak sedikit untuk pemanas kandang menjadi masalah tersendiri bagi para peternak. Kebutuhan energi ini dapat diatasi dengan memadukan pemanas kandang dengan PV solar, sehingga dapat memperoleh sumber energi dengan mudah dan murah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh posisi penempatan pemanas dan kecepatan putaran kipas terhadap temperatur yang dihasilkan oleh PV solar electric warmer DOC. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada malam hari di dalam box treatment dengan ukuran 1,5×1,5×1,5 m di lantai dua. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian ekspreimen dengan mengujikan variasi posisi penempatan pemanas (ditengah, disamping, dan disudut ruangan) serta kecepatan putaran kipas (1500, 2500, dan 3500 rpm) terhadap temperatur yang dihasilkan oleh PV solar electric warmer DOC dimana dalam proses penelitiannya dilakukan perancangan dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan posisi penempatan pemanas dan kecepatan putaran kipas berpengaruh terhadap temperatur yang dihasilkan oleh PV solar electric warmer DOC. Variasi posisi penempatan pemanas ditengah ruangan dengan kecepatan putaran 3500 rpm dapat menghasilkan temperatur yang paling merata yaitu 32,4 oC berbanding terbalik dengan dengan variasi penempatan pemanas disudut ruangan dengan kecepatan putaran 1500 rpm yang memiliki rerataan temperatur paling rendah yaitu 31,64 oC.
