PENGARUH PENERAPAN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PjBL) TERHADAP KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN PROJEK IPAS

Abstract


Social science project  (IPA IPS project) is a new subject that appears in the merdeka curriculum. In the social science project subject which was later abbreviated to IPAS project, is a combination of science and social studies subjects. Science and social studies are branches of science that have a role in life, especially in the field of STM (Science, Technology and Society). One of the learning models that can encourage students to understand and improve learning knowledge is the project-based learning (PjBL) model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PjBL learning model on student creativity in IPAS project learning. This type of research is quasi-experimental research, using the posttest only control design technique. The research population was students of class X Industrial Chemical Engineering 1 (X TKI 1) as the experimental class and students of class X Industrial Chemical Engineering 2 (X TKI 2) as the control class. The data analysis technique used was independent sample t-test. The results showed that the project-based learning model had a positive effect on students' creativity in mastering the material of substances and their changes in the IPAS project subject significant results (2-tailed) <0.05, namely 0.000 which means the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the PjBL model affects the creativity of students.

 

Projek IPA IPS merupakan mata pelajaran baru yang muncul pada kurikulum merdeka. Dalam mata pelajaran projek  IPA IPS yang kemudian disingkat menjadi projek IPAS, merupakan gabungan dari mata pelajaran IPA dan IPS. IPA dan IPS merupakan cabang ilmu yang memiliki peran dalam kehidupan, khususnya dalam bidang STM (Sains, Teknologi dan Masyarakat). Salah satu model pembelajaran yang  mampu mendorong peserta didik memahami dan meningkatkan pengetahuan pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang biasa disebut  project based learning (PjBL).. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap kreativitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran projek IPAS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-eksperimen, menggunakan teknik posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas X Teknik Kimia Industri 1 (X TKI 1) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan peserta didik kelas X Teknik Kimia Industri 2 (X TKI 2) sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan independent sample t-test sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas peserta didik dalam penguasaan materi zat dan perubahannya dalam mata Pelajaran projek IPAS hasil signifikan (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 yang berarti hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas peserta didik
