PERBANDINGAN KINERJA BATA BETON MENGGUNAKAN ABU CANGKANG SAWIT, ABU SEKAM PADI DAN ABU SERAT SAGU

Abstract


Bata beton/ paving blok adalah salah satu bahan konstruksi yang digunakan pada lapisan atas struktur jalan selain aspal dan cor beton. Pada penelitian ini, penggunaan abu cangkang sawit (ACS), abu sekam padi (ASP) dan abu serat sagu (ASS) digunakan pada bata beton. Pengaruh ACS, ASP, dan ASS terhadap kinerja bata beton diteliti yaitu kekuatan tekan, penyerapan dan ketahanan sulfat dengan metode siklus basah-kering. Campuran bata beton dibuat dengan komposisi semen terhadap pasir sebesar 1:3, FAS sebesar 0.39 dan dirawat dengan cara disiram dan disimpan di laboratorium pada kondisi suhu lruang yang tidak dikontrol. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan hanya penggunaan 10% ACS yang memiliki kinerja bata beton yang sama dengan bata beton kontrol sesuai standar SNI-03-0691-1996. Selain itu, penggunaan 10% ASP maupun 10% ASS dapat digunakan untuk diaplikasikan pada taman.
