Analisis SWOT : Strategi Penjualan Produk Kerajinan Tangan Narapidana Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Sibolga

This study aims to identify supporting and inhibiting factors or internal and external factors to determine alternative strategies that can be applied in the sale of handicraft products of prisoners in the Class IIA Sibolga Penitentiary. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis through internal factor analysis (IFAS) and external factor analysis (EFAS). Data collection was carried out by observation and unstructured interviews. The results showed that the analysis of internal factors in the IFAS matrix has a total opportunity and threat of 2.94 while the total value of opportunities and threats in the analysis of external factors in the EFAS matrix is 3.56. The quadrant position of the alternative strategy is determined by the x-axis and y-axis obtained from the sum of the IFAS and EFAS matrices. In this study, the coordinates of the X axis = 0.76 and the Y axis = 0.68 which are in quadrant I which means an aggressive strategy. Aggressive strategy seeks to maximize the strength factor and take advantage of the opportunity factor. By taking advantage of the strengths and using the available opportunities, the Sibolga Class IIA Penitentiary will succeed in resolving the problems currently being felt related to the sale of handicraft products of prisoners.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat atau faktor internal dan faktor eksternal untuk menentukan strategi alternatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam penjualan produk kerajinan tangan narapidana Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Sibolga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT melalui analisis faktor internal (IFAS) dan analisis faktor eksternal (EFAS). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara yang sifatnya tidak terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis faktor internal pada matriks IFAS memiliki total peluang dan ancaman sebesar 2,94 adapun total nilai peluang dan ancama pada analisis faktor eksternal pada matrik EFAS sebesar 3,56. Posisi kuadran strategi alternatif ditentukan sumbu x dan sumbu y yang diperoleh dari penjumlahan pada matrik IFAS dan EFAS. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh koordinat sumbu X = 0,76 dan sumbu Y = 0,68 yang berada pada kuadran I yang merekomendasikan strategi agresif.
