History of the JTT (Jurnal Teknologi Terapan)

The JTT (Jurnal Teknologi Terapan) began its scientific publication journey in 2013, publishing a print edition as a means of disseminating research results in the field of applied technology. In line with advances in information technology and the need for wider accessibility, JTT transitioned to an online publication system in 2015, implementing Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2.4.8.5.

During its journey, JTT faced technical challenges in the form of several cybersecurity incidents that impacted editorial activities. Given the importance of maintaining data integrity, manuscript security, and a smooth publication process, the journal's management committed to a comprehensive system transformation. In 2026, in JTT undertook a major upgrade of its system infrastructure to OJS version 3.4.0.10. This strategic step demonstrated JTT's commitment to providing a more secure, stable, and user-friendly publication platform for authors, editors, and readers.
