ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PENGGUNAAN BAHAN BAKAR SOLAR DENGAN BIODIESEL B15 DAN B20 TERHADAP PERFORMANSI ENGINE KOMATSU SAA6D107E-1
Abstract
Indonesia is one of country petroleum producer in this world but until recently still importing fuel oil. Biodiesel of vegetable oil is an alternative fuel which is formulated specifically for engine diesel. As for the purpose of the reseaches is analyse and know the effect of usage from diesel fuel with biodiesel B15 and B20 in the performance engine komatsu SAA6D107E-1. Reseach is done through several stages that is data collection, until following the installation process engine to dynotest. Reseachers do the data retrieval when the engine is operating use test equipment Taylor Dynamometer DX 34. the testing process using several parameters used that is performance comparison between torque and power to engine speed. Based on these parameters are calculated comparative performance. Test results obtained through dynotest on engine Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 which uses fuel biodiesel B15 decreased maximum torque performance of 8,7 %, decreased maximum power of 2,7 %, while for fuel biodiesel B20 decreased maximum torque of 10,3 % and decreased maximum power of 6,1 %.
