ANALISIS GEOMETRI HASIL BORING ID EYE ROD AS REAR SUSPENSION 777 PADA MESIN HORIZONTAL MILLING CNC HAAS EC1600

Abstract


The repair process Rod As Rear 777 Suspension in PT.SSB one of them is the id eye repair process. The work of boring id is the process of enlarging the desired size hole and usually does not pay attention to the geometry deviation from the boring process, even though it is very influential with the quality of machining results. The research objective is to find out the geometry of the results of boring id bore Rod as Rear Suspension 777 on Horizontal Milling CNC Haas ec1600 machine. The independent variables in the study were cutting depths of 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, spindle rotation 300 rpm, 400 rpm, 500 rpm. The dependent variable is the geometry deviation resulting from boring id bore Rod As Rear Suspension 777. The control variable is the CCMT 120408 tool, feed speed 0.1 mm / rev, diameter of eye 158 mm, coolant damin water and ecocool 2700T. The measurement method uses a bore gauge / cylinder gauge to determine the effect of variations in machining parameters on boring geometry with a tolerance of ± 0.02 mm and takes 4 measuring axes namely X, Y, X ', Y'. From the research that has been done that the parameters with the smallest geometry deviation obtained at the cutting depth (ap) 1mm and spindle rotation (n) 500 rpm, is the expected result because the geometry deviation is 17µm still within the tolerance limit of ± 0.02 mm. The greater the value of the cutting depth (ap), the greater the geometry deviation that occurs. Whereas the greater the cutting speed value (Vc), the smaller the geometry deviation will occur.
