RANCANG BANGUN SYSTEM OTOMATISASI PENYIRAMAN DAN PEMUPUKAN TANAMAN DENGAN PENGONTROLAN SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN MEDIA TANAM

Abstract


Cultivation of horticultural plants requires intensive care in the form of regular watering and fertilization in accordance with the planting media resistance and characteristics of the plants. The unavailability of appropriate information and the limited time to water and fertilize plants requires farmers to immediately switch to automation systems for watering and fertilizing plants. The provision of water and fertilizer to plants automatically controlled by the Arduino microcontroller based on data from the measurement / detection of temperature and humidity of the air around the plants by the DHT11 sensor becomes a solution to ease work and increase productivity. The automation system works based on several sensor information about the condition of the plant environment by controlling the Arduino microcontroller. Watering is caried out at least 2 times a day through the reading of temperature and air humidity by the DHT11 sensor, the reading of water content in the planting medium by soil moisture sensors, and the RTC as a limiting number of watering in one day. Fertilization is carried out through reading light sensors, and RTC as a limiting number of fertilization ones in a week.
